Typically racing tyres are constructed from special rubber compounds that have a unique grip. The blend consists of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and many other materials which improve certain characteristics including flexibility, strength, heat resistance and others. All of those are specially developed for extreme sports car conditions such as high speed and quick change of temperature. The design and structure of the tread are also of paramount importance as they serve to determine the ability of the tire to bite the track surface thus instilling the driver with confidence to the limit.
